I am currently a student of Brown University, pursuing a double concentration in pure mathematics (Sc.B.) and education studies (A.B.), emphasizing in human development. I graduate in 2008 to face unknown prospects.
I am in the midst of an identity crisis -- on some days I consider myself a mathematician, while on others I consider myself an educator. I intend to obtain a master's at some point and teach secondary mathematics (resolving my identity conflict), however the road there is not straight. I enjoy cycling and juggling, and am considering a trans-America tour on a bicycle this summer.
I am also fairly well-known and highly respected for my knowledge in Javascript, a scripting language most widely used on webpages. As a hobby, I have worked with Javascript and have been deploying dynamic interfaces across multiple web browsers for over 10 years; my experiences have lead to a unique knowledge of cross-browser inconsistencies and workarounds, and my background in computer science at Brown University has helped me develop innovative and efficient programming idioms in Javascript.
